From December 1, 2021, shipments of Sharp's new multi-function copiers to major domestic convenience stores have started.
Sharp's multi-function copiers installed in the stores of major convenience store chains on street corners across the country are gradually being replaced with new models. This single unit provides many services, from digital camera printing to the issuance of resident cards for local governments. We are in charge of the transport business to respond quickly to replacements with new models.
Service Example (2): Transportation from Mie/Taki

“Sharp Masks”, which began production in March 2020 in a clean room with extremely little dust and dirt at the Sharp Mie Factory (Taki Town, Mie Prefecture), shipped 100 million on November 6, 2020, and 2021. We achieved 200 million on March 25, 2020, and a total of 300 million on November 10, 2021.
From September 8, 2021, we have also started shipping the “Sharp Crystal Mask” with a new 3D structure. We also transport the "Sharp Face Shield Series" produced at the Yonago Factory. We will continue to carry out transportation with more consideration for hygiene.
Service Example (3): Transportation to Ichikawa and Maihama
- Efforts to respond to the expansion of acceptance of imported containers in the growing Kanto area

Imported containers of overseas manufactured goods are unloaded at the most appropriate port according to the sales ratio. In the Kanto area, the quantity of containers received has been increasing in line with the increase in imports. As a countermeasure, a new import terminal was added to accommodate the increased quantity of containers received.
The new import terminal is located 10 km from the Ichikawa Warehouse (Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture), the main warehouse in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and is contracted with the Maihama Warehouse (Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture), which has a storage capacity of 1,500 tsubos (8,000 square meters) and can receive approximately 80 import containers per month.
The Ichikawa warehouse and the Maihama warehouse are positioned as the same warehouse in the system and are operated as a virtual warehouse, which enables us to give inbound and outbound instructions to our customers without being aware of each warehouse from the outside.
